conversations with Eli

Eli: "Shoo-ah-doo-uh-doo-uh!"
Me: What?
Eli: "Shoo-ah-doo-uh-doo-uh!"
Me: What is that?
Eli: I just want to say dat.
Me: OK
Eli: (notices a lego canoe) "Will dis poke me?"
Me: No
Eli: "You said no?"
Me: Yes
Eli: "Shoo-ah-doo-uh-doo-uh!"

and earlier this morning:

Eli: "I want breaf-dis.  I want pancakes."

and he requests this when he's done swimming:

"I want costume."

which means wrap the towel around his chest and leave his arms out.  Who would have ever come up with that description other than a 3 yr old?

~Another funny: When I say to him, "Eli, you're my water baby."  (because he loves swimming!)
He gets all limp, wants me to hold him, and he hugs me and makes baby noises."  hahahaha!
