Eli said the sun stinks
On our drive to school, we pass a smelly skunk and carry the scent with us. We then go over a hill and can see the bright orange sun on the horizon. Eli says, "the sun stinks!!"
Oh yes, how it teaches us not to associate obvious things like the sun with the smell. Good lesson. People often do that with food and diabetes. Eat Feel bad... but that usually is not the last thing I ate, that more likely was two hours ago. Or even more complicated, folks narrow their food choices and call them allergies.....when actually it isn't at all. This happens in my office often. I am allergic to such and such..
