Eli lost his last two teeth - thanks Grandpa Jon!

Another "end of an era" post!  Eli lost his last two teeth, with Grandpa Jon's help.  Aunt Rachel insisted it was necessary for the adult teeth behind them to get these pulled - so Eli had to be brave, and let it happen.  Thanks Grandpa Jon for taking care of that on a Saturday!

I will never use my "tooth fairy" alarm again!  Sad!

 

Eli's first molar came in

I noticed the tips of his first molar coming in on Monday, Aug 12.  The runny nose is explained!

Eli's 7th tooth came in this week

A third lower tooth. No wonder he was biting everything!

Eli's 2nd tooth and fun bath time

His 2nd tooth poked through to make a matching pair of teeth emerge from his lower gums today.
He also thoroughly enjoyed splashing in the tub full of warm water.  I held him with my arms halfway in the tub while Vanessa and Calvin played.  Eli was intent on grabbing and chewing every tub toy possible and splashing his arms continually and loving every minute.  Calvin helped me clean Eli with the baby soap.  After so much activity in the water, a clean diaper, warm pajamas and quick feeding put him to sleep for a long 2 hour nap.
