Calvin is in 10th grade and he's part of the football team. That's a crazy statement....because Waterloo Christian School has been working on getting a football program up and running for a couple years now. The dream came true at the start of year 2023-2024. WCS Regents is playing 8-man football and had their first game 8-25-2023 vs Springville Orioles. They lost but their team scored two touchdowns and played great defense the first 3/4 of the game. Everyone was so proud of them!!! Calvin is thrilled to be a part of it, even though it is very, very hard. He's especially enjoying weight lifting, and this mama is excited for the character building that being part of a sports team can bring.
