Shawn's parents always rent a hotel room at the Country Inn and Suites and let the grandkids swim in the pool, and Shawn invited us - so we got a chance to hang out with them in the pool for 2 hours. I was feeling really exhausted and not really in the mood to swim so I put lifejackets on the younger two and they were free birds in the water. I got a chance to sit and chat with Shawn's parents and Eli jumped in and swam around the pool like a fish with his life jacket on. He was hesitant to trust it, but when he saw Vanessa jump right in with hers on and pop right up with a smile on her face, that was all he needed to jump right in next to her. Shawn&Kim swam with their kids floating them around. Dave was finishing up a financial task in his office and met up with us at the hotel after an hour of work.
